About Darby's Restaurant History

We invite you to settle into an evening among friends!

Our restaurant was built in 1865. It has existed as a bar or restaurant ever since. The walls, tin ceiling, and antique bar are original. It was owned by the Darby family from 1910 to 1940.
Jerry & Gail Savitz bought the building in 1985, restored it and renamed “Darby’s”. We bought Darby’s in June of 2016 and are excited to continue the tradition! We’re a “from scratch” kitchen cooking with locally grown and caught foods as seasons and availability permit. We hope you enjoy your meal. If you have a special dietary request, please speak with your server. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Lisa & Cory Chase Much of the art you see on the walls and the pottery on the tables is created by local artists and is available for purchase. The upstairs dining room is available for small parties.
